Job Summary:
The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accuracy of financial records, and support compliance with statutory and internal financial controls. The role requires hands-on involvement in financial reporting, audits, taxation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders in an automotive manufacturing or allied environment.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including GST, TDS, income tax, and company law requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors for internal, statutory, and tax audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
- Monitor and control costing, budgeting, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations.
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and accounting policies.
- Support management with financial MIS, reports, and analysis for decision-making.
- Coordinate with banks, consultants, and regulatory authorities as required.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance
- Experience in manufacturing/automotive accounting preferred
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Tally/Oracle, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Educational Qualifications
- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance)
- Relevant accounting experience in automotive or manufacturing sector preferred
