Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Ahmedabad. The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, reconciling statements, and ensuring compliance with taxation and regulatory requirements. The role also involves bookkeeping, processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, as well as assisting with audits and budgeting efforts as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Budgeting
• Proficiency in Bookkeeping, Taxation, and Compliance Management
• Competency in using accounting software and tools for Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other data management tools
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional accounting certifications such as CPA/CA are a plus
• Experience within the export or agricultural industry is advantageous
