About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join our finance team at Wild Waters. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, reconciling revenue streams, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting statutory compliance processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and experienced professionals to develop their careers in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments including operations, ticketing, and sales to ensure accurate revenue tracking and financial reporting. The position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com). Freshers are encouraged to apply, as well as candidates with up to 3 years of experience in accounts or finance, preferably within the hospitality, entertainment, or retail sectors. Experience with GST filing and statutory compliance is essential. Candidates should demonstrate a basic understanding of accounting principles, along with familiarity with relevant software tools such as Tally, Excel, or other accounting systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update daily financial transactions in accounting systems accurately and timely.
- Handle ticket revenue reconciliation from ticket counters and online bookings to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Verify and record cash collections from various park outlets, including F&B, retail, lockers, and other attractions.
- Assist in bank reconciliation processes and monitor daily deposits to ensure proper fund management.
- Maintain comprehensive records of invoices, payments, and expense reports for audit and reporting purposes.
- Support the finance team in GST documentation, filing, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Assist in preparing monthly closing reports, financial statements, and other relevant documentation.
- Coordinate with operations, ticketing, and sales teams to verify revenue figures and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records for easy retrieval and audit readiness.
- Participate in vendor payment processing, follow-ups, and maintaining good vendor relationships.
