Role Description
We are hiring a Senior Accounting Associate / Senior Accountant for a fulltime, onsite role in Amritsar.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements for local and global clients
- Managing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Using accounting software (Tally, Busy, QuickBooks Online, Xero) to maintain accurate records
- Providing analytical insights to support decisionmaking
- Ensuring compliance with GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations
- Coordinating with auditors and assisting in statutory and tax audits
- Mentoring junior staff and ensuring quality control
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com/MBA/CA)
- Proven experience in financial reporting, audit preparation, and compliance
- Proficiency in Tally, Busy and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF)
- Proficiency in QBO & Xero is Plus
- Strong knowledge of journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting standards.
- Exposure to GST, TDS, Income Tax filings, and Companies Act compliance
- Excellent analytical, communication, and client management skills
- Ability to lead and mentor junior staff while managing multiple deadlines
