Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Accounts Executive with 2-3 years of experience in the construction field to join our team at Desai Homes in Ernakulam and Trivandrum. This is an on-site role involving accurate financial processing, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance tasks. The Accounts Executive will manage journal entries, AR/AP updates, audits, and support month-end closings while handling ad-hoc tasks from the Accounts Manager. Daily responsibilities include maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring proficiency in Tally, GST, TDS, and tax returns to support our growing real estate operations.

Qualifications

• B.Com degree.
• 2-3 years experience in the construction field, preferably in real estate or related accounting.
• Proficiency in posting/processing journal entries, updating AR/AP, and performing reconciliations.
• Experience assisting with balance sheets, P&L statements, and updating financial databases.
• Skilled in preparing/submitting monthly reports, supporting closings, and project-related finances.
• Strong knowledge of Tally software, GST, TDS, and income tax returns.
• Ability to conduct internal audits at branches as required.
• Capable of handling tasks assigned by Accounts Manager/Management efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and deadline management skills.
