Job Description

Designation: Account Manager

Location: Pune

Role Overview

As an Account Manager – Performance Marketing at SRV Media, you will play a strategic and executional role in managing client campaigns end-to-end. This includes media planning, performance tracking, cross-functional coordination, and driving business growth through proactive client engagement, upselling, and optimization strategies.

You will also be responsible for handling education-sector clients and international projects (UAE market), ensuring 360° campaign management and measurable performance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Relationship & Communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring regular updates and strong relationship management
  • Proactively manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and ensure client retention

2. Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Lead media planning and buying across digital channels (SCO, social media, content)
  • Monitor campaign performance, optimize strategies, and ensure KPI achievement
  • Track and report campaign metrics (traffic, conversions, ROI, etc.)

3. Performance & Portal Management

  • Handle 360° management of client portals, especially in the education domain
  • Conduct audits of portals (e.g., Study from UAE projects)
  • Analyze traffic flow, SCO targets, and performance benchmarks
  • Identify gaps and recommend improvements

4. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with internal teams including Sales, Content, SCO, and Project Management
  • Ensure seamless execution of campaigns through effective coordination
  • Manage timelines and deliverables across departments

5. Marketing Automation & Content Flow

  • Plan and execute drip marketing campaigns
  • Define communication flows (emailers, messaging strategy, automation triggers)

6. Strategic Growth (Upselling & Cross-Selling)

  • Identify opportunities to expand client accounts
  • Drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives aligned with client goals

7. Content, PR & Podcast Management

  • Coordinate podcast initiatives with leadership (including scripting and execution timelines)
  • Ensure timely go-live and promotion strategies
  • Support PR activities and brand-building initiatives

Requirements

Experience:

  • 5+ years in Account Management / Client Servicing
  • Prior experience in a digital marketing agency is preferred

Must-Have Requirement:

  • Proven experience in handling education sector clients is mandatory
  • Candidates from platforms such as Shiksha, IDP, CollegeDunia, CollegeDekho, CollegeSearch or similar education portals will be highly preferred

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of SCO, SEM, PPC, and content marketing
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance and optimize results
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong project management and time management abilities
  • Proactive mindset with ownership-driven approach
