Hiring: Accountant Executive / Finance Controller

Oye Happy is a fast-growing gifting & party supplies brand, scaling operations and expanding internationally.

We are looking for a finance professional who can bring control, discipline, and visibility into our financial systems.

This is not a bookkeeping role.

This role ensures money, compliance, and financial processes stay tight.

What You'll Own

1 Monitoring Outsourced Accounting Firm

Review books maintained by external accounting firm

Ensure timely GST filings, TDS, compliance

Cross-check accuracy of entries

Maintain monthly closure discipline

2 Cash Flow & Money Monitoring

Monitor complete inflow and outflow of funds

Track vendor payments

Track petty cash systems

Flag discrepancies proactively

Maintain clean and updated ledgers

3 Vendor & Payment Controls

Validate payment requests before release

Ensure documentation is complete

Avoid duplicate or incorrect payments

4 Compliance & Licenses

Ensure all business licenses and statutory filings are up to date

Maintain compliance calendar

Coordinate with CA / consultants when required

5 Reporting & MIS

Prepare monthly MIS by 5th of every month

Support founders with financial clarity and data

Who We're Looking For

Atleast 2 years experience in accounting / finance

Experience handling GST-heavy business

Strong understanding of inventory & trading businesses

Comfortable working with outsourced accounting firms

Strong in Excel + Tally / Zoho / similar software

Detail-oriented and financially disciplined

Stable work history

Salary

30,000 – 40,000 per month (based on experience)
