Account Executive

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Account Executive / Senior Account Executive to support integrated PR mandates for leading BFSI clients. The role involves end-to-end execution of PR campaigns, strong media coordination, content development, and client servicing in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Key Responsibilities

Client Servicing & Account Management

Support day-to-day management of BFSI client accounts across banking, insurance, fintech, AMC, and NBFC sectors

Act as a key point of contact for routine client communication and coordination

Assist in developing PR strategies aligned with client business objectives

Manage timelines, deliverables, and internal coordination with research, digital, and creative teams

Media Relations

Build and maintain strong relationships with business, finance, and BFSI journalists

Draft and pitch press releases, story angles, media notes, and interview opportunities

Track media opportunities, respond to journalist queries, and manage follow-ups

Monitor coverage and prepare detailed media reports and analysis

Content Development

Draft press releases, Q&As, bylines, thought leadership articles, and key messaging documents

Support leadership profiling initiatives including CXO interviews, opinion pieces, and speaker opportunities

Ensure accuracy, compliance, and BFSI-specific sensitivity in all communication

Research & Monitoring

Track BFSI industry trends, regulatory updates, and competitor activity

Conduct background research to support pitches and strategic recommendations

Maintain media lists and coverage trackers

Internal Coordination

Work closely with senior team members to ensure seamless execution of campaigns

Support new business pitches, proposal development, and presentations when required

Candidate Profile

For Account Executive

13 years of experience in Public Relations, preferably with BFSI or business media exposure

Strong understanding of banking, finance, insurance, or capital markets is an advantage

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment

For Senior Account Executive

35 years of relevant PR experience with demonstrated BFSI client handling

Proven media relationships with business and financial journalists

Ability to independently manage account execution with minimal supervision

Strong strategic thinking and client-handling capabilities
