Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Academic Counselor based in Gurugram. The Academic Counselor will guide students in making informed decisions about their higher education and career paths, provide academic advising, and deliver personalized guidance through counseling sessions. The role involves understanding student aspirations, advising on suitable academic and career opportunities, and fostering effective communication with students and their families. The Academic Counselor will also work closely with educational institutions to facilitate smooth admissions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling
- Strong Communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with students and families
- Experience in Academic Advising and providing guidance on educational opportunities
- Familiarity with the education sector and the ability to understand student needs
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build positive relationships with stakeholders
- Knowledge of academic programs, university admissions processes, and career pathways is a plus
- Relevant degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in counseling or academic advising roles is advantageous
