LOCATION: Noida

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Academic Counselor role based in Noida. The Academic Counselor will guide students on academic pathways, course selection, and institutional policies, ensuring alignment with their interests and long-term goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions, supporting students with academic challenges, and providing information on career options and further education opportunities. The role also involves maintaining accurate student records, collaborating with faculty and administration, organizing orientation or information sessions, and preparing reports and updates on student progress. The Academic Counselor will contribute to a supportive, inclusive learning environment and uphold confidentiality and professional standards in all student interactions.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills to support learners with academic planning and concerns.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with students, families, and institutional staff clearly and professionally.
Candidates should possess Career Counseling skills to help students explore career paths, further studies, and skill development opportunities.
Candidates should possess a solid background in Education or related fields to understand curricula, academic requirements, and learning processes.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor's or master's degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, or a related discipline.
Ability to build trust with diverse student populations, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive situations with empathy and fairness.
Strong organizational and documentation skills, with proficiency in using basic computer applications and student information systems.
Prior experience in academic counseling, student services, or education management is preferred.
