Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for the position of Academic Counselor located in Koramangala, Bengaluru. The Academic Counselor will engage in student counseling, provide academic advising, and assist students in their career planning and also convert into admissions. Day-to-day tasks include understanding student aspirations, clarifying academic options, offering informed advice regarding education paths, and creating personalized action plans to help students achieve their professional goals. The role also involves strong communication and interpersonal interactions with students and their families.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling, with the ability to guide students in making educational and career-related decisions.
• Strong skills in Academic Advising and Education to provide comprehensive advice spanning courses and career development.
• Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and stakeholders.
• Ability to work closely with a diverse group of students in understanding and addressing academic challenges.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field; prior experience as an academic or career counselor is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills and an empathetic approach to working with students to achieve their goals.
