We support students pursuing higher education abroad by guiding admissions, visa processes, scholarship evaluation, and pre-departure readiness for institutions across North America, the UK, Europe, Australia, and Asia-Pacific.

Role: Education Counselor

About The Opportunity

We are hiring an on-site Education Counselor to join a high-energy student advisory team in India. This role combines one-on-one academic guidance with end-to-end application management, visa support, and relationship-building with partner universities and lending partners.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct personalised academic and career counselling sessions to evaluate student profiles, recommend programs and countries, and define application roadmaps.
  • Prepare, review, and optimise application documents including SOPs, rsums, transcripts, and scholarship submissions to maximise offer success.
  • Manage the end-to-end admissions workflow: university shortlisting, application submission, follow-ups, offer analysis, and enrolment coordination.
  • Provide practical visa application supportcompile documentation checklists, coordinate with visa consultants/authorities, and monitor application status until outcome.
  • Drive lead conversion through proactive follow-up, outreach (education fairs, sessions), and consistent CRM hygiene; deliver weekly pipeline and conversion reports.
  • Liaise with partner universities, scholarship bodies, and bank/loan partners to facilitate admissions, scholarships, and education loan processes.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • University admissions counselling experience with demonstrable application management skills
  • Student recruitment and lead conversion expertise
  • Visa application guidance and documentation management
  • Statement of Purpose (SOP) review and application document preparation
  • Hands-on experience with Zoho CRM or equivalent CRM platforms
  • Familiarity with IELTS and TOEFL formats and basic prep guidance

Preferred

  • Experience with Salesforce or other enterprise CRMs
  • Prior work with overseas university partnerships or placement agencies
  • Multilingual proficiency (Hindi/Regional language + English) for broader student outreach
