Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Academic Counselor located in Bengaluru. The Academic Counselor will provide guidance and support to students, helping them make informed decisions about their educational and career paths. Daily responsibilities include counseling students, offering academic advising, facilitating career exploration, and maintaining effective communication with students to address their academic and professional queries. Collaboration with educational institutions and creating customized development plans for students will also be key tasks in this role.
Qualifications
- Strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills
- Proficiency in Communication and ability to connect effectively with students
- Experience or expertise in Academic Advising and Education
- Ability to understand and align with student needs for academic and career growth
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience in a similar counseling or advisory role is a plus
- Empathy, patience, and a passion for fostering student success
