Academic Counsellor

About the Role

Upsynk is hiring Academic Counsellors and Assistant Team Leaders (ATL) for its Online UG/PG Degree Programs vertical.

This is a student counselling and admission conversion role, not telecalling or generic sales. You will guide students in choosing the right online degree program and university, and support them through the admission process.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students for Online UG & PG Programs (MBA, BBA, BCA, MCA, BA, B.Com, M.Com, etc.)
• Understand student profile, career goals, eligibility, and budget
• Recommend the most suitable program and university
• Handle inbound and outbound enquiries
• Convert leads into successful admissions
• Coordinate documentation and admission formalities
• Maintain follow-ups and student records

For ATL role:

• Support and guide junior counsellors
• Assist in achieving daily and monthly team targets

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 6 months experience in Online UG/PG / Distance Education / EdTech admissions
• Strong counselling and communication skills
• Clear understanding of the online degree admission journey
• Comfortable working in a target-driven, performance-focused environment
• ATL candidates should have basic team-handling exposure

Candidates without online degree admissions experience will not be considered.

Compensation

25,000 40,000 per month + performance-based incentives

Location: Gurugram (Work From Office)

Working Days: 6 days/week

Timings: 10:00 AM 7:00 PM
