Role Overview

We are looking for academic counselors who have already sold finance programs like CFA, investment banking, or financial modeling and understand the mindset of finance aspirants.

You will work with high-intent student leads and guide them through a consultative admissions process—helping them choose the right finance pathway and converting them into enrollments.

Key Responsibilities

Finance-Focused Lead Handling

  • Manage inquiries specifically for CFA, investment banking, financial modeling, FRM, CPA, and CMA.
  • Qualify leads based on career seriousness, financial readiness, and long-term goals.
  • Identify fit for roles like:
  • Investment Banking
  • Equity Research
  • Corporate Finance
  • Risk & Compliance
  • Accounting & Audit

High-Quality Academic Counseling

  • Conduct deep-dive counseling sessions (calls/video/in-person)
  • Explain:
  • Career pathways (IB, Buy-side, Big 4, etc.)
  • Program ROI and outcomes
  • Certification difficulty, timelines, and commitment required
  • Handle objections from well-informed candidates.

Conversion Ownership

  • Own the full sales cycle: inquiry counseling follow-ups closure
  • Maintain structured follow-ups with high-intent prospects.
  • Consistently achieve monthly revenue targets

CRM & Pipeline Discipline

  • Maintain detailed lead notes and status tracking.
  • Follow a structured follow-up cadence.
  • Track conversion ratios and pipeline health

Who This Role Is For

  • You've previously sold CFA / FRM / investment banking / financial modeling programs.
  • You understand terms like front office roles, equity research, valuation, risk management, Big 4, etc.
  • You're comfortable speaking to serious career-oriented students.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 1-4 years in EdTech sales for finance programs
  • Strong preference for candidates who have experience selling:
  • CFA / FRM programs
  • Investment banking courses
  • Financial modeling training
  • Experience in high-ticket B2C sales is mandatory.

Skills

  • Strong consultative selling ability (not script reading)
  • Deep understanding of finance career paths
  • Confident objection handling with informed candidates
  • Excellent English communication

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (Finance / Commerce preferred)
  • CFA Level 1 / finance certifications (good to have, not mandatory)
