Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Academic Advisor at Bridgeon. The Academic Advisor will guide students in their academic journeys, providing counseling and advice on course selection, career planning, and educational opportunities. Responsibilities include developing individualized education plans, monitoring academic progress, conducting career counseling sessions, and effectively communicating with students to address their needs and aspirations.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Student Counselling, Academic Advising, and providing career-related guidance
• Proficiency in Communication and the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Experience in Career counselling and familiarity with educational pathways and opportunities
• Proactive, empathetic, and goal-oriented approach to supporting students academic and career success
• Prior experience in academic advising or counselling is preferred, but not mandatory
