Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Ab Initio Developer with 5–10 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL solutions using Ab Initio tools. The candidate should have strong knowledge of data integration, data processing, and performance optimization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Ab Initio (GDE, Co>Operating System, EME).
- Develop complex data processing graphs for large-scale data integration.
- Work with business and technical teams to understand data requirements.
- Optimize ETL jobs for performance and scalability.
- Perform data analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting of ETL processes.
- Implement data quality and validation checks within ETL pipelines.
- Collaborate with database teams for data modeling and optimization.
- Support production deployments and resolve data-related issues.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Ab Initio ETL development.
- Hands-on experience with GDE (Graphical Development Environment) and EME.
- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting and Shell scripting.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, Teradata, etc.).
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices.
- Experience in performance tuning and job scheduling.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
- Knowledge of banking or financial domain.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
