Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Application Development
- Handson experience designing, developing, and supporting integration topics such as OData, CDS view, IDOC, SOAP, RFC. And better to have AIF, CFL experience.
- Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, integrations, enhancements, and forms according to business requirements
- Design and develop full-stack applications from SAP backend (ABAP) to frontend (Fiori/UI5)
- Apply performance optimization techniques for both backend and frontend components
- Implement proper error handling and logging mechanisms across the application stack Clean Core Implementation
- Apply the Clean Core strategy to maintain a system architecture free from unnecessary customizations
- Develop extensions that are strictly separate from the SAP standard application
- Implement cloud-compliant extensions and integrations that support future upgradability
- Understand and apply side-by-side extensibility concepts using SAP BTP
- Ensure modifications follow the Clean Core principles to reduce technical debt
- Apply appropriate extension methods based on business requirements (in-app, side-by-side, etc.)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Additional SAP certifications are a plus Technical Skills
- 7+ years of experience in ABAP development including:
- Core ABAP programming (WRICEF, BAPI, ALE/IDocs, RFC, etc.)
- Object-Oriented ABAP
- SAP Fiori/UI5 development
- ABAP CDS Views and OData services
- ABAP on HANA optimization techniques
- SAP Gateway
- WebDynpro ABAP (desirable)
- Proficiency in performance analysis and optimization tools
- Knowledge of SAP BTP and extensibility options
- Experience with ABAP Unit Testing and Code Inspector
