We are looking for someone who can strategize, streamline and lead the procurement and contracts for residential projects, ensuring optimal performance and price. You will have the unique opportunity to develop and manage the identification of vendors, tendering process, negotiation, selection of vendors, and team building while adhering to applicable legal standards and codes of ethical conduct.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Architecture or Project Management
20+ years of experience in Contracts and Procurement roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the Contracts and Procurement team to achieve organizational goals
- Evaluate and streamline Contract and Procurement processes/strategies to maximise efficiency
- Source vendors, local and global, as per company standards and requirements
- Stay up-to-date with the latest market trends and collaborate with suppliers to negotiate prices and contracts
- Make profitable strategies for companies and effectively negotiate with an analytical approach
- Run and lead tender process
- Develop and maintain relationships with all the vendors/contractors
- Effective vendor dispute resolution
- Timely and accurate closure of procurements and contracts
- Ensure all negotiated prices are the best in the market
- Ensure POs and WOs have advantageous terms for the company
- Review BOQ, Drawings for adding to value engineering solution for cost savings
