Who Cannot Apply?
- Students having backlogs or failed subjects in any semester are not eligible.
- Candidates who are not pursuing full-time courses are not eligible.
- Students outside the specified disciplines cannot apply.
A No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Principal, HOD, or Training and Placement Officer (TPO) on the institute’s letterhead is mandatory for eligible candidates.

Selection Process

Selected candidates will have to produce the following documents at the time of joining:

Terms and Conditions
Candidates selected for the DRDO SAG Delhi Internship must comply with the rules and regulations prescribed by the laboratory. Important conditions mentioned in the notification are given below.
Leave Rules
- No leave will be granted during the internship except sick leave supported by a valid medical prescription.
- Gazetted holidays and closed holidays observed by the laboratory will be applicable to interns.
- Interns are required to follow the working hours and attendance procedure prescribed by SAG.
Certificate Conditions
- Candidates who leave the internship before completing the six-month duration will not receive an internship certificate.
- The first installment of the stipend will be released only after successful completion of the first three months.
Employment Clause
Completion of the internship does not guarantee employment with DRDO. Interns cannot claim any right to appointment on the basis of having completed the internship programme.
Termination Conditions
- SAG reserves the right to modify the number of vacancies or the selection criteria at any stage without assigning any reason.
- Violation of laboratory rules or breach of security regulations may result in immediate termination of the internship without prior notice.
- Interns are required to comply with the provisions of the Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923 and the IT Rules and Regulations applicable to the Ministry of Defence.
