About DRDO CASDIC
DRDO CASDIC Internship 2026 is a six-month paid internship programme conducted by the Combat Aircraft Systems Development and Integration Centre (CASDIC), Bengaluru, for eligible engineering and science students.

Selection Process
CASDIC will shortlist applicants based on the academic performance and credentials submitted with the application. Meeting the minimum eligibility requirements does not by itself guarantee selection for one of the 30 internship positions.

The stipend is not paid every month. CASDIC will release it in two instalments: the first after completion of three months and the second after completion of six months.
For stipend eligibility, an intern must complete at least 15 working days in a particular month. If the attendance requirement is not met for a month, the intern will not be eligible for the stipend for that month.
CASDIC will not provide or reimburse boarding and lodging expenses. Students selected for the Bengaluru internship should therefore account for their own accommodation and related living arrangements.
Certificate
CASDIC will issue an internship completion certificate after the student successfully completes the six-month internship and fulfils the prescribed evaluation and reporting requirements.
At the end of the internship, the student’s work will be evaluated by the concerned division. The intern must also submit a project report on the work carried out during the internship.
The completion certificate will be issued by CASDIC based on the intern’s satisfactory completion of these requirements.
Leaving the internship early: An intern who leaves the programme midway will not be entitled to a stipend or internship certificate. Students should consider the full six-month commitment before accepting an internship offer.
