  • Designation - Zonal Sales Manager - South India
  • Location - Bangalore/Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve zonal revenue targets.
  • Identify and onboard new customers while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Explore new market segments and business opportunities within the assigned region.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:

  • Conduct customer visits, presentations, and demonstrations of laser machines.
  • Provide technical guidance and consultation to clients regarding machine selection and application.
  • Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction.

Team Management & Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Sales Executives/Engineers in the region.
  • Provide sales training and technical guidance to the team.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, ensuring targets are met.

Market Research & Competitor Analysis:

  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activities.
  • Provide feedback to the management on market dynamics and customer demands.

Sales Operations & Reporting:

  • Prepare and submit sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (service, production, and finance) to ensure smooth order execution.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms while ensuring profitability.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong experience in B2B sales of laser machines or capital equipment.
  • Excellent technical understanding of laser cutting, welding, or marking technologies.
  • Ability to drive business growth through strategic sales planning.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned zone.

Preferred Industry Experience:

  • Laser Machine Manufacturing
  • CNC Machines / Industrial Automation
  • Capital Equipment / Machinery Sales
