Job Description:
- Designation - Zonal Sales Manager - South India
- Location - Bangalore/Chennai
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve zonal revenue targets.
- Identify and onboard new customers while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
- Explore new market segments and business opportunities within the assigned region.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Conduct customer visits, presentations, and demonstrations of laser machines.
- Provide technical guidance and consultation to clients regarding machine selection and application.
- Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Team Management & Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of Sales Executives/Engineers in the region.
- Provide sales training and technical guidance to the team.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, ensuring targets are met.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activities.
- Provide feedback to the management on market dynamics and customer demands.
Sales Operations & Reporting:
- Prepare and submit sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams (service, production, and finance) to ensure smooth order execution.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms while ensuring profitability.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Strong experience in B2B sales of laser machines or capital equipment.
- Excellent technical understanding of laser cutting, welding, or marking technologies.
- Ability to drive business growth through strategic sales planning.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned zone.
