Zonal Sales Manager – East (Industrial / Professional Channel)
Overview
Our client, is seeking a Zonal Sales Manager to drive business growth across the East region. The role will be responsible for managing sales of a comprehensive range of products to industrial clients, while strengthening channel networks and driving strategic initiatives for market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, direct, and motivate the regional sales team to achieve defined business and operating plan targets
- Drive a focused sub-segment approach to maximize market penetration
- Identify high-growth segments within the region and align sales strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities
- Manage and expand the channel partner network to strengthen market reach
- Deliver on revenue, margin, and sales productivity targets within the assigned geography
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective engagement and service delivery
- Drive funnel management, including quality pipeline development and effective customer visits
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and engagement within the sales team
- Promote new product introductions (NPI) and drive customer upgrades through solution-based offerings
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech preferred)
- 10+ years of relevant experience in institutional and project sales
- Strong exposure to industrial accounts, with a good understanding of the ecosystem preferred
- Demonstrated success in sales, key account management, and channel development
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and a results-oriented mindset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
