Role Overview
The Zonal PR Head is responsible for planning, executing, and managing all Public Relations & Media
activities across the assigned zone. The role focuses on building and protecting the organization's
media relation & reputation and ensuring consistent brand communication across all regional
markets.
Key Responsibilities
1 Media Relations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with regional and local print, electronic, and
digital media.
- Identify media demand & provide content/support accordingly to local media persons about
Industry & Exams updates.
- Plan and execute press releases, media briefings, interviews, and press conferences.
- Image Building ideation /positive content creation with the help of Media Persons.
2. Content & Communication
- Oversee preparation of press notes, success stories, articles, and talking points.
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and brand consistency in all communication material.
- Support marketing and advertising teams with PR-aligned content.
- Handle crisis communication and negative publicity in coordination with HO.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all zonal communications.
3. Coordination & Reporting
- Act as the single point of contact for PR matters within the zone.
- Regular visit of Allen centers.
- Share regular updates, coverage reports, and insights with HO.
- Ensure compliance with PR policies, approvals, and brand guidelines.
- Design and implement zonal PR strategies aligned with national communication goals.
- Customize PR campaigns as per regional sensitivities and market requirements.
4. Agency Management
- Manage external PR agencies and vendors within the zone.
- Review performance, budgets, and ROI of PR activities.
5. Stakeholder & Government Relations
- Build relationships with key influencers, government officials, and local authorities.
- Coordinate PR support for visits of Editors, senior leadership and dignitaries.
- Manage CSR communication and community engagement initiatives at the zonal level.

Qualifications & Experience
- Qualification – Graduate / Post Graduate / preferably with Mass communication
- 12+ years of relevant experience in Media networking, Good sense of story angle, Public
Relations communications, preferably with a strong editorial background and exposure to
zonal or regional PR operations
