About The Job
The Zonal Commercial Lead is responsible for ensuring strategy execution, demand generation, and customer value, while also playing a crucial role in coaching Area Commercial Leads to define customer and portfolio needs, and contributing to the national business plan in close collaboration with the Sales & Customer Engagement Head.
The position requires developing and maintaining a results-oriented culture by fostering a safe environment that promotes idea generation and effective planning for achieving targets. This includes strategic decision-making to drive results within the team and territory, coupled with high autonomy to secure necessary support and build solutions. Furthermore, the role involves emphasizing data-driven, customer-centric, and rapid decision-making. The Manager is tasked with fostering the adoption of change within their teams, promoting a customer-focused culture, and ensuring the continuous evolution and refinement of the new agile and self-organized model by capturing local opportunities and translating global strategies into actionable zonal plans.

Main Responsibilities.
Strategic Leadership & Business Development:
- Drive commercial strategy execution to achieve market position and sales targets in both public and private sectors
- Be very ambitious; develop competitive intelligence and high market understanding to catch business opportunities; allocate adequately resources across portfolio; deliver sales and profit targets.
- Translate global strategy into actionable local plans aligned with India's healthcare ecosystem
- Capture local opportunities through data-driven decision making.
- Contribute to the elaboration of Marketing Plan and ensure its correct execution; coaches closely its organization to collaborate efficiently with marketing team, Customer Engagement and Medical to implement successfully top-down and bottom-up strategies and initiatives
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead the team to embrace this disruptive approach and work efficiently fostering a customer centric culture.
Lead and develop teams
- Drive capability building in digital engagement and omnichannel excellence
- Create psychological safety environment promoting innovation and calculated risk-taking
- Build a high performing team, while finding the perfect match with the philosophy, with the right set of competencies and the ability and will to bring success; foster the development of the team; adopt a retention plan.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Orchestrate stakeholder engagement across public and private sectors
- Drive customer-centric solutions through integrated access planning
- Ensure effective implementation of marketing and customer engagement strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with KOLs and key decision makers
Compliance
- Respects corporate commitment and compliance guidelines. Ensure that all products within the portfolio comply. Monitor product compliance and work closely with Pharmacovigilance.

About You
Experience: 10-15 year in Pharma sales out of which 5-7 years in Diabetic Speciality.
- Skills Required: Strategic and innovative thinking, Conceptualizing,
- Education: Graduate degree in Science/ Pharmacy, master's degree in business administration with Marketing Specialization(preferable).
- Achievement oriented, Teamwork & Collaboration, Influencing & execution and Monitoring & evaluation
Ecosystem understanding proven experience in understanding of Pharma/HealthCare dynamic, it's customer relationship management and critical performance metrics.
- Transformation and Change Management: proven experience in leading or accompanying workforce transformations and propelling new ways of working.
Build High Performance Culture: proven experience in leading teams performance and a clear people chapter/agenda to continuously optimize performance, raise the bar and create a sustainable high performing culture.
