We are seeking an experienced Transition Lead to manage and oversee the migration and implementation of Zscaler security solutions. The role involves planning, executing, and managing transitions from legacy systems or other security platforms, ensuring minimal operational impact while maintaining high security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the transition of Zscaler security solutions, including Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA).
- Develop detailed transition plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders, and Zscaler support to align on transition goals and deliverables.
- Configure Zscaler solutions following best practices and organizational requirements.
- Implement and manage security policies, access controls, and traffic routing within the Zscaler platform.
- Ensure seamless integration of Zscaler services with existing network and security infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues during and after the transition process, including connectivity, policy, and performance issues.
- Collaborate with Zscaler support and IT teams to resolve advanced technical issues.
- Monitor service performance, analyze traffic metrics, security events, and user experience.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization for Zscaler services.
- Maintain detailed documentation of transition processes, system configurations, and changes.
- Prepare and present regular reports on transition progress, performance metrics, and issue resolutions to management.
- Provide support, guidance, and training to internal teams and end-users on Zscaler services and best practices.
- Lead projects related to Zscaler, including system upgrades, migrations, and feature rollouts, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 7+ years of experience with Zscaler solutions or similar cloud security platforms.
- Hands-on experience with transitions, migrations, and integrations.
- Zscaler Certified Administrator (ZCA) or equivalent certification is required.
- Additional certifications in cloud or network security are advantageous.
- Proficiency in ZIA and ZPA administration and configuration.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including secure web gateways, zero trust security, and access controls.
- Experience with network protocols, firewall configurations, and VPN technologies.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and performance monitoring systems.
- Excellent project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform under pressure.
