About the Role
We're looking for a talented Freelance Video Editor to work with a YouTuber and transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality YouTube videos. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual flow, with an understanding of what makes content perform well on YouTube.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging YouTube videos.
- Add transitions, captions, sound effects, and background music.
- Trim and rearrange clips to maintain flow and viewer engagement.
- Align the editing style with the YouTuber's tone, personality, and content theme.
- Deliver high-quality videos within given deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience editing YouTube or social media videos.
- Strong proficiency in video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Good sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual rhythm.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Nice to Have
- Experience creating thumbnails or basic motion graphics.
- Familiarity with YouTube trends and best practices (intros, hooks, retention techniques, etc.).
