Job Description
We're looking for a YouTube Executive for our team to drive the growth of YouTube Channels.
As a YouTube executive, you will:
- YouTube Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive YouTube strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Manage the YouTube channel, including metadata optimization, thumbnail ideation and video monetization strategies.
- SEO and Keyword Research: Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to optimize video titles, descriptions, and tags for improved visibility and organic reach.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor YouTube analytics, track performance metrics, and provide regular reports on key metrics, including views, engagement, and subscriber growth, to inform decision-making and improve content strategy.
- Stay Updated with YouTube Trends: Stay informed about the latest YouTube trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure the channel remains relevant and competitive.
- Brand Reputation Management: Monitor and respond to comments, feedback, and inquiries on YouTube to maintain a positive brand image and address customer concerns effectively.
- Take charge of the culture and learning and development of all channels to create an atmosphere where each team member is motivated to perform at their A game.
- Maintain trackers for each activity done on the channel with proper documentation.
- Maintain compliance with organizational processes and procedures.
Job Requirement
The major skills and competencies required for this role include:
- A strong understanding of the audiences on YouTube. You relate to the problems of the audience and can define the vision of a channel to systematically address the problems in a differentiated way compared to other YouTube channels.
- Understanding of content strategy and SEO. You're a strong generalist who can solve problems in all areas with expertise in a few areas.
- In-depth knowledge of key metrics of YouTube channels and a detailed understanding of the drivers of those key metrics. You're a person who understands key levers to be used for influencing specific metrics.
- Quantitative bent of mind with an ability to diagnose the health of a channel through its metrics. All you need is a spreadsheet to understand key problem areas of a channel.
- Extreme curiosity and creativity with an experimentation mindset to explore new content categories, formats and growth opportunities. You're a person who loves exploring and critically analyzing other YouTube channels in your free time.
- Self-initiative and problem-solving mindset. You're excited by problems and love figuring out solutions for them. You take charge of your division and don't wait to be told what to do.
- Composure of mind in tough situations. You keep calm when times get tough and serve as an anchor to your team.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience managing YouTube channels and implementing successful YouTube strategies
- Strong understanding of YouTube's platform, algorithms, and best practices
- Advantage of Knowledge of video production, editing, and optimization techniques
- Knowledge of SEO strategies and keyword research tools
- Familiarity with video analytics and reporting tools (e.g., YouTube Analytics, Google Analytics)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Creativity and ability to think outside the box to drive engagement and growth on YouTube.
