Job Description

We are looking for an experiencedYouTube and Instagram Video Editorto create engaging, high-quality video content tailored for digital platforms. The role involves editing long-form YouTube videos as well as short-form content for Instagram Reels, ensuring strong storytelling, pacing, and visual impact.

This is a fulltime, remote role for someone who understands social media content dynamics and audience engagement.

Responsibilities

• Edit long-form videos forYouTube(talking head, podcasts, tutorials, vlogs).
• Create short-form videos forInstagram Reels(and similar formats) from long content or raw clips.
• Add clean cuts, transitions, captions, sound effects, and basic motion graphics.
• Optimizevideos for platform-specific formats, aspect ratios, and pacing.
• Maintain consistent visual style and branding across content.
• Collaborate with the content and marketing teams on creative direction.
• Deliver content on time with consistent quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience editing videos forYouTube and Instagram.
• Strong skills in video editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar).
• Good understanding of social media trends, hooks, and viewer retention.
• Experience with captions, subtitles, and basic animations.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, freelance setup.
• Strong attention to detail and storytelling sense.

Nice to Have

• Experience editing for other short-form platforms (Shorts, TikTok).
• Motion graphics or animation experience.
• Knowledge of YouTube analytics and content optimization.
