- Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Battery Design Engineer
Job Responsibility :-
- Understand electrical architecture of HEV/EV
- Conceptualization, Layout, Design and Development of HEV/EV Lithium-Ion Battery pack
- Specification Determination, Testing and Evaluation of components and sub system
- Cost & Weight Optimization through VA/VE and Benchmarking
- Coordination with other design departments/ suppliers & related agencies for design and development Activities
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS :-
Technical/Functional :-
- Ability to work on DMU /3D Modeling/2D Drawing
- Ability to work on UNIGRAPHICS (desirable)
- Working experience of Lithium-Ion battery pack design, child part development and testing
- Knowledge of design, safety and test standards of Lithium-Ion battery
- Knowledge of types of cells/modules, chemistry, electrical characteristics, battery packs architectures etc.
- Experience in testing at battery pack level and vehicle level testing
- Exposure to Hybrid/Electric Powertrain Control Design, development, verification and validation. Familiarity with on board diagnostics.
- Knowledge of HEV/EV Regulations such as AIS 038 & other relevant regulations

Educational Qualification:
- Must Have- B.E./BTech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Desirable - M.E./MTech in Design/Manufacturing Engineering with project work related to Electric Vehicle / Hybrid Electric Vehicle systems
- Minimum 60 % marks
