Job Summary
We are seeking an experiencedWSO2 Integration and API Manager Developerwith 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions and API platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise inWSO2 Micro Integrator (MI),WSO2 API Manager (APIM), and related integration patterns, along with experience in cloud-native deployments and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Development
- Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions usingWSO2 Micro Integrator (MI)andEnterprise Integrator (EI).
- Implement service orchestration, mediation, routing, enrichment, and transformation usingSynapse configurations.
- Develop reusable integration components and APIs for enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, legacy apps, cloud services).
- Handledata and protocol transformations(REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, JMS, File, FTP/SFTP).
API Management
- Design, publish, version, and manage APIs usingWSO2 API Manager.
- Implement API lifecycle management, throttling policies, security policies, and monetization (if applicable).
- Configure API security usingOAuth2, JWT, API keys, Mutual TLS, and scope-based access control.
- Support API Gateway deployments and troubleshoot runtime issues.
Security & Identity
- Integrate APIs withWSO2 Identity Serveror external IdPs (Keycloak, Azure AD, LDAP).
- Implement authentication, authorization, token management, and role-based access control.
- Ensure security best practices and compliance with enterprise standards.
Deployment & Operations
- Deploy WSO2 components inKubernetes / Docker / VM-based environments.
- Support CI/CD pipelines usingJenkins, GitHub Actions,or similar tools.
- Perform performance tuning, log analysis, and production support.
- Monitor integrations and APIs using logs, metrics, and alerts.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with architects, business analysts, and client stakeholders.
- Prepare technical design documents, integration specs, and operational runbooks.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Skills
- 45 years of hands-on experience withWSO2 MI/EI and WSO2 API Manager
- Strong knowledge ofRESTful APIs, SOAP services, and web services standards
- Experience withSynapse mediators, message flows, and fault handling
- Solid understanding ofAPI security concepts(OAuth2, JWT, TLS, certificates)
- Experience withXML, JSON, XSLT, XPath, and data mapping
- Hands-on experience withLinux/Unix environments
Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience withWSO2 Identity Server
- Containers & orchestration:Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
- DevOps & automation experience
- WSO2 Certified Integration Developer
- WSO2 Certified API Manager
