About the Role:
We are looking for experienced and passionate Telugu writers with 15 years of professional writing experience. If you have a strong grip on storytelling, understand audience psychology, and can consistently deliver engaging hooks, emotional beats, and twists, this role is for you.
You will work closely with senior writers, promo producers, and creative teams to craft compelling promos and narrative content for Telugu fiction and drama shows.
What You'll Do:
- Write high-impact short and long promos for Telugu fiction shows
- Create strong hooks, conflicts, twists, and emotional moments tailored to audio audiences
- Collaborate with senior writers, promo producers, and creative leads
- Interpret creative briefs and convert them into engaging promo narratives
- Refine content based on feedback, performance metrics, and audience response
- Maintain consistency with Pocket FM s storytelling and promo style
- Mentor or guide junior writers/interns when required
What We Need:
- 15 years of experience in writing (audio, scripts, promos, films, web series, reels, or digital content)
- Excellent Telugu writing and speaking skills
- Strong understanding of fiction storytelling and Telugu pop culture
- Proven ability to write crisp, engaging, and emotionally driven lines
- Good sense of pacing, cliffhangers, and episodic storytelling
- Ability to take feedback positively and iterate quickly
Good to Have:
- Experience in audio dramas, OTT content, TV serials, films, or digital storytelling
- Strong understanding of hooks, power starts, twists, and promo structures
- Exposure to performance-driven content (CTR, retention-based storytelling)
- Experience working in fast-paced creative environments
- Passion for fiction, novels, web series, and audio storytelling
