Role Description

We are looking for young, passionate writers who can work across animation and live-action formats. This role requires a strong sense of storytelling, adaptability in tone, and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced writers room environment. You will be part of a team developing stories, scripts, and concepts for films, series, and digital content.

Responsibilities:

Writing & Development

• Develop original story ideas, concepts, and pitches
• Write scripts for animation (episodic, visual storytelling-driven)
• Write scenes and sequences for live-action projects
• Break stories into beats, arcs, and episode structures
• Rewrite scripts based on internal feedback and revisions

Writers Room Collaboration

• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions
• Build on others ideas and contribute constructively
• Adapt to different tones (comedy, drama, children's content, etc.)
• Work closely with the Head Writer and the creative team

Coordination & External Communication

• Assist in preparing pitch documents and story notes for clients
• Coordinate with TV channels / OTT platforms / internal stakeholders for feedback and revisions
• Incorporate network/platform notes into scripts effectively
• Be part of discussions where required with clients to explain story choices or changes
• Ensure timely delivery of drafts as per production and client timelines

Research & Trend Awareness

• Stay updated on content trends across OTT, TV, and animation
• Bring relevant references and insights into story development

Requirements

• 03 years of experience (freshers with strong writing samples are welcome)
• Strong storytelling fundamentals (structure, character, conflict)
• Ability to write both visual (animation) and dialogue-heavy (live action) scenes
• Good command of English (knowledge of Telugu/Hindi is a plus)
• Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
• Team player with a collaborative mindset
