Postgraduate or graduate in an engineering discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Assistance:
Assist the PE with the delivery of project requirements as they relate to scope, quantities, quality, cost, and schedule.
Design Work:
Responsible for working in an integrated 3D environment and producing design calculations, reports, specifications, evaluation reports, technical recommendations, 3D models, and 2D drawings as per project requirements.
Engineering Deliverables:
Produce and maintain technical and engineering deliverables using 2D and 3D engineering software as required.
Technical Expertise Sharing:
Facilitate the sharing of technical expertise across projects, including the archival of project documents.
Training Participation:
Provide and/or participate in training for resources assigned to the project.
Conceptual Layout Work:
Perform conceptual layout work as required for the project.
Design Details Development:
Develop design details, prepare/extract drawings, and check the deliverables prior to release.
Coordination with Engineers:
Ensure coordination with engineers within the discipline and with other disciplines.
Clash Detection Coordination:
Coordinate and review clash detection in an integrated model with other discipline engineers and resolve issues if any.
Engineering Review Participation:
Participate in formal engineering review processes.
Vendor Drawing Review:
Review vendor drawings and documents, including archival and inputs to other disciplines.
Site Visits and Client Meetings:
Represent the discipline during site visits/client meetings as deemed necessary by the PE/PM.
Support Technology and Project Teams:
Support the technology team/project team for development and automation works as required.
