Position Title: Working Engineer (WE)
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Engineer (PE) with the delivery of project requirements related to scope, quantities, quality, cost, and schedule.
- Responsible for working in an integrated 3D environment, producing design calculations, reports, specifications, evaluation reports, technical recommendations, 3D models, and 2D drawings as per project requirements.
- Produce and maintain technical and engineering deliverables using 2D and 3D engineering software as required by the project.
- Facilitate the sharing of technical expertise across projects, including the archival of project documents.
- Provide and/or participate in training for resources assigned to the project.
- Perform conceptual layout work for project designs.
- Develop design details, prepare or extract drawings, and check deliverables prior to release to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Ensure coordination with engineers within the discipline and with other disciplines to ensure project cohesion.
- Coordinate and review clash detection in the integrated model with other discipline engineers and resolve any issues that arise.
- Participate in formal engineering review processes to ensure design accuracy and quality.
- Review vendor drawings and documents, ensuring proper archival and providing inputs to other disciplines as necessary.
- Represent the discipline during site visits or client meetings, as required by the PE/Project Manager (PM).
- Support the technology team/project team in the development and automation work as required for project needs.
Experience:
- 1-4 years of experience in a relevant design discipline.
- Experience in engineering packages and software used in design.
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate or Graduate in an Engineering discipline.
