Key Responsibilities:
Design & Drafting
- Prepare detailed 2D/3D designs, drawings, and plans using AutoCAD and related software.
- Modify and optimize existing designs to meet project specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to finalize design requirements.
Project Coordination
- Support project planning and execution by providing accurate design inputs.
- Review technical specifications and ensure designs comply with industry standards.
- Assist in estimating materials, time, and cost requirements for design projects.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all designs adhere to safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Conduct design verification, error checking, and revisions as required.
- Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, and approvals.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with production, manufacturing, or construction teams to implement designs.
- Provide technical guidance to junior designers or drafters as needed.
- Prepare regular reports, presentations, and design documentation for management and clients.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Stay updated with the latest AutoCAD features, design tools, and industry trends.
- Suggest improvements in design processes, workflows, and tools.
- Support innovation and efficiency initiatives within the design team.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 510 years of experience in design and drafting using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, design standards, and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CAD management tools.
