Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled
Workday Specialist with 5+ years of experience in designing and developing
Workday integrations and custom applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
Workday Studio and Workday Extend, along with a good understanding of Workday HCM processes.
This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, efficient, and secure solutions within the Workday ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, and Workday APIs
- Build and deploy custom applications using Workday Extend
- Collaborate with HR and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Develop and manage end-to-end integration workflows (inbound & outbound)
- Support and optimize business process automation using Workday Orchestrate (if applicable)
- Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure smooth data flow across systems
- Perform unit testing, system testing, and support UAT cycles
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure adherence to best practices
- Participate in Workday releases, upgrades, and enhancements
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday Studio (must-have)
- Proven experience with Workday Extend (must-have)
- Solid experience in Workday Integrations (Core Connectors, EIB, Web Services)
- Good knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT
- Understanding of Workday HCM business processes
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Workday Orchestrate for workflow automation
- Familiarity with Advanced Compensation processes
- Exposure to modules like Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, or Talent
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
