Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Workday Report Writer to design, develop, and maintain reports within Workday. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely, and meaningful data insights that support organizational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Workday reports including Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and Dashboard reports
- Create and manage calculated fields based on business requirements
- Work with stakeholders to gather and understand reporting needs
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports
- Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues
- Optimize report performance and efficiency
- Support ad-hoc reporting and analytics requests
- Assist in Workday releases by testing and updating reports
- Maintain documentation for reports, logic, and data sources
- Support compliance and audit-related reporting
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in Workday Reporting
- Strong knowledge of:
- Workday Report Writer (Advanced, Matrix, Composite)
- Calculated fields
- Data sources and business objects
- Understanding of Workday HCM data structure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday Reporting Certification (preferred)
- Experience with:
- Workday Prism Analytics
- Workday dashboards and analytics
- Knowledge of HR processes (Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits)
- Exposure to integrations (EIB, Core Connectors)
- Familiarity with audit and compliance reporting
