Senior Workday Integration Consultant
We are a
certified Workday Partner seeking a
Senior Workday Integration Consultant to design, build, and support robust integrations that power critical business processes.
In this role, you will take
end-to-end ownership of Workday integrations, working closely with clients, functional teams, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless, secure, and scalable data flows across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, Calculated Fields, and Custom Reports.
- Apply strong technical expertise in XSLT, XTT, XML, and Java to deliver high-performance integration solutions.
- Build and manage integrations using Web Services and APIs, including WSDL, SOAP, REST, and WS standards.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and integration leads to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Lead and participate in client working sessions, providing technical guidance and solution recommendations.
- Partner with clients and third-party vendors to design and implement integrations aligned with business and security standards.
- Analyze the impact of Workday R1/R2 releases, perform regression testing, and recommend enhancements to existing integrations.
- Provide post-production support, troubleshooting complex integration issues and ensuring system stability.
- Proactively identify technical risks, dependencies, and constraints, and propose alternative approaches to ensure delivery success.
- Contribute to integration best practices, documentation, and accelerators to improve delivery
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5–8 years of experience in Workday Integration development, with hands-on delivery ownership.
- Workday Integration Certification (Studio preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Workday HCM and/or Financials integration landscape.
- Proven experience with complex inbound and outbound integrations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders.
- Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments is highly preferred.
