About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Workday Integration Architect to lead the design, development, and

governance of Workday integrations within our HR technology ecosystem. The role will be responsible

for defining integration strategies, ensuring scalability, and delivering seamless connectivity between

Workday and other enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of complex integrations between Workday and

internal/external systems (HR, Payroll, Finance, Benefits, Recruiting, etc.).

Define integration patterns, frameworks, and standards to ensure scalability, performance, and

compliance.

Partner with HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors to gather requirements and translate them

into integration solutions.

Develop and oversee integrations using Workday Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core

Connectors, Cloud Connect, PECI/CCB, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware tools.

Ensure integrations are secure, compliant with data privacy (GDPR, HIPAA), and meet

organizational governance standards.

Troubleshoot integration issues, monitor performance, and provide long-term support solutions.

Guide and mentor developers and consultants on Workday integration best practices.

Collaborate with enterprise architects to align Workday integrations with overall IT architecture.

Document architecture, data flows, integration specifications, and support models.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's

preferred).

8+ years of IT integration experience, with at least 4+ years in Workday integration design and

architecture.

Strong expertise in Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services

(REST/SOAP).

Experience with middleware platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, Azure

Integration Services).

Deep understanding of HR, Payroll, and Finance business processes.

Proven experience designing secure, scalable, and high-performance integrations.

Knowledge of data security, encryption, and compliance frameworks.

External & Confidential

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Workday Integration Certifications strongly preferred.

Nice to Have

Experience with Workday Extend / Prism Analytics.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Background in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Ability to lead cross-functional integration teams.
