Workday HRIS Analyst - Absence Management and Time Tracking

We are seeking a highly skilled and globally minded Workday HRIS Analyst to join our HR Technology team. This role will focus on the Absence Management and Time Tracking modules within Workday, supporting Multi Country operations. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Workday configuration and a strong understanding of regional compliance requirements, time-off policies, and workforce practices. 

Key Responsibilities:

∙Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules across multiple regions. 

∙Collaborate with regional HR, Payroll, and Operations teams to gather requirements and implement localized solutions. 

∙Design and maintain Absence plans, LOP, Accruals, Time template, Time entry codes, Calculation rules, validation rules, BP and profiles. 

∙Ensure compliance with country-specific labour laws and leave regulations (e.g., statutory holidays, sick leave, overtime rules). 

∙Good knowledge on creating complex calculations on Accruals and Carry forward logic.  

∙Configure and manage Work schedules, Period schedules, and Holiday calendars and compliance with organizational policies. 

∙Experience in Core HCM , Reporting and Security would be added advantage. 

∙Conduct impact analysis and testing for Workday releases and enhancements. 

∙Provide L 2/3 support for time and absence-related issues, escalating to Workday or external consultants as needed. 

∙Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and user guides for regional stakeholders. 

∙Troubleshoot complex issues and provide production support for absence and time tracking processes. 

∙Develop test cases, execute unit/system testing, and coordinate UAT with stakeholders. 

∙Generate and analyse reports and dashboards to support workforce planning, compliance, and operational efficiency. 

∙Partner with global HRIS and IT teams to ensure data integrity and seamless integration with payroll systems. 

Qualifications:

∙Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field 

∙5-10 years of hands-on experience with Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules 

∙Proven experience supporting multi-country HR operations, preferably across APAC, EMEA, NAM, and Middle East 

∙Strong understanding of regional labor laws and compliance requirements 

∙Proficiency in Workday reporting tools (e.g., Calculated Fields, Custom Reports, Dashboards) 

∙Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cultures and time zones 

∙Workday certification in Absence or Time Tracking is highly desirable

Preferred Skills: 

∙Experience with Workday EIBs, Studio, or integration tools 

∙Familiarity with global payroll systems and time data integrations 

∙Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment 

∙Multilingual capabilities or cultural fluency is a plus
