Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Workday Extend Consultant to design and develop custom applications within the Workday ecosystem. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Workday Extend implementations, integrations, and application development within Workday.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Workday Extend applications
- Participate in technical workstreams across Workday implementations
- Build scalable solutions using Workday Extend frameworks and model components
- Integrate Workday with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
- Work closely with functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Prepare design, build, and technical documentation
- Support integration and deployment activities
- Train and collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
- 38 years of experience in Workday Extend development
- Experience in 3 or more Workday Extend implementations
- Hands-on experience with Workday Extend application development
- Strong understanding of:
- Model objects
- Business process models
- Data modelling within Workday
Technical Skills
Experience with 23 of the following technologies:
- PMD Scripting
- Orchestration
- Model Components
- Web Services (REST / SOAP)
- XML
- XSLT
- Workday Studio
- EIB
- Workday Cloud Connect
Additional Preferred Skills
- Experience with WQL, GraphQL, and RaaS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Experience working with tools such as Notepad++, Oxygen XML, UltraEdit, Beyond Compare
