Deep understanding of Workday functionality for a specific area of responsibility: Core Payroll, NAM Payroll, UK Payroll, Global Payroll, Compensation and performance.
Subject matter expertise and prior experience with Workday HCM in a configurator role or capacity
Understanding the configuration of calculated fields, condition rules and eligibility rules
Perform analysis on Workday configuration and business process changes resulting from change requests or Workday upgrades and their impact on Workday, security, and/or integrations.
Author test plans based on functional requirements. Execute test plans and track defects/fixes. Manage issues through resolution.
Work directly with functional Payroll and technical project teams to assess Workday HCM business needs and translate those needs into a globally aligned configuration and business process model that aligns with project initiatives
Must have proven work experience implementing or supporting Workday HCM configurations, ideally in large global organizations.
Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities; able to communicate effectively with diverse people and individuals at various levels within the organization
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail.
