The Workday Adaptive Planning Specialist, on the Digital Technologies Human Resources (HR) Applications Team, coordinates, designs, builds, and implements Workday-enabled Adaptive Planning solutions. The successful candidate must function as an expert in Workforce Planning topics and partner closely with HR, Finance and other business leaders to ensure accurate modelling, reporting, and forecasting capabilities, and capable of translating business requirements into technology solutions

As a Workday Adaptive Planning Specialist, you will also be responsible for:

  • Demonstrating knowledge of Workday Adaptive planning and take the lead for driving configuration changes for the Workday Adaptive planning modules along with other team members as needed.
  • Successfully engage and support key stakeholders through all phases of the projects and independent units of work.
  • Recommending the best solution based on the requirements, budget, and time frame with the flexibility to adapt the scope as additional needs are identified.
  • Working with multiple work streams, integration teams, and business organizations to ensure cross-functional impacts are considered and mitigated.
  • Facilitating effective brainstorming and design sessions anticipate how potential ideas may play out in the organization and what behaviors it will drive.
  • Staying up to date with the latest Workday releases and provide suggestions around use cases accordingly.
  • Following company defined change control processes to implement the changes and solutions.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor's degree in business management, Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Human Resources etc.
  • Workday Adaptive Planning Certification
  • Have a minimum of 7 years of total experience and minimum 2-3 years ofWorkday Adaptive Planning implementation or support experience
  • Experience as a Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant
  • Deep knowledge of Workforce planning functional processes
  • In depth knowledge of managing model structures, hierarchies, dimensions, and assumptions to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting is a must.
  • Proficiency with system configuration, data loads, and integrations.
  • Advanced Excel and data management skills are a plus.
  • Configuration experience in Workday Core HCM and Recruiting modules is a plus.
  • Self-starter - requires minimal direction to accomplish goals
  • Strong customer service focus and responsiveness
  • Strong analytical skills, interpretive and evaluative skills
  • Flexible with creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills across multiple threads of work streams
  • Ability to work well with local and global teams
  • Adheres to timelines
