Role Overview
Bounteous is seeking an experienced
Workfront Fusion Developer to support a global information services enterprise engagement focused on enterprise-grade automation and system integration. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and stabilizing complex Workfront Fusion scenarios that integrate Workfront with external enterprise platforms in a secure and controlled manner.
This position is not intended for general Workfront administration. Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to dashboards, user provisioning, or basic workflow configuration without substantial Fusion development experience will not be considered a fit.
The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive hands-on experience developing Fusion scenarios within regulated or large-scale enterprise environments. They must be proficient in HTTP module configuration, JSON payload construction and transformation, OAuth-based authentication, and asynchronous or webhook-driven integration patterns.
The Fusion Developer will operate within an established enterprise architecture and governance framework. They are expected to assume responsibility for workstream-level automation delivery, ensuring solutions are secure, resilient, maintainable, and aligned with compliance expectations.
This role requires disciplined technical execution, structured documentation practices, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a global offshore delivery model supporting North America stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities
Fusion Architecture & Development
- Design, build, and maintain complex Workfront Fusion scenarios
- Develop HTTP module integrations calling external REST APIs
- Structure JSON payloads and handle OAuth authentication headers
- Parse and transform API responses using Fusion tools
- Implement Routers, Iterators, Aggregators, and advanced error-handling logic
- Build and manage webhook-based integrations and asynchronous processing patterns
- Optimize scenario performance, execution limits, and runtime efficiency
Integration & Data Modeling
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Workfront data model (projects, tasks, issues, custom forms, proofs, portfolios)
- Implement scalable automation patterns aligned with established governance standards
- Support multi-system integrations (Workfront, external APIs, enterprise platforms)
- Troubleshoot data flow inconsistencies and production issues
Delivery & Collaboration
- Operate independently within defined architectural standards
- Partner with Solution Leads and Architects to design integration strategies
- Participate in agile ceremonies, estimation, and sprint planning
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to functional and non-technical stakeholders
- Support production incident response and root cause analysis
