Why this role exists

For a staffing company, the website is where employers and candidates first meet us. Client enquiry forms, job listing pages, candidate registration and blog posts all live there, and each one has to load fast and work properly. As a WordPress & Web Intern, you will help build and maintain those pages. You will work on a live site, see your changes go out to real visitors and learn how a business website is kept healthy.

Your day-to-day

- Customise WordPress themes and set up plugins to match what the team needs

- Write small PHP functions for forms, custom features and integrations

- Turn approved design layouts into working, responsive pages

- Fix layout bugs, broken links and display issues across browsers and phones

- Improve page speed through image optimisation and cleaner code

- Set up basic SEO elements such as page titles, meta descriptions and clean URLs

- Share progress in daily check-ins and a weekly review

You are a good fit if

- You know HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript fundamentals

- You have worked with WordPress or know basic PHP

- You understand responsive design and browser developer tools

- You test your work before sharing it

- You pay attention to small details

- You have a laptop and a stable internet connection for full-time remote work

Nice to have, not required

- Knowledge of MySQL, Elementor or Bootstrap

- Familiarity with Git

- A live website, portfolio or GitHub profile with your work

Who can apply

- Final-year students and recent graduates from B.Tech, B.E., BCA, B.Sc (CS/IT), MCA, diploma programs or any stream with strong web skills

- Self-taught developers who can show their skills through a live site, portfolio or GitHub profile

- Freshers are welcome, and prior work experience is not required

- You must be available to work full-time for the internship period
