Position Summary
We are looking for a
WordPress & Shopify Specialist with agency experience or an agency mindset to join our delivery team. You will work on multiple client projects simultaneously, translating business and design requirements into high-quality WordPress websites and Shopify stores. This role requires strong execution skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver reliably within timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and Shopify stores for multiple client accounts.
- Convert Figma / design files into pixel-accurate, responsive web experiences.
- Customize themes, plugins, and Shopify apps to meet client-specific requirements.
- Handle end-to-end executionfrom development to deployment and handover.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues under tight deadlines.
- Optimize sites for performance, security, SEO, and conversions.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and account teams to meet delivery timelines.
- Manage revisions, feedback loops, and scope changes efficiently.
- Maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented code across projects.
- Stay updated on WordPress, Shopify, and e-commerce best practices relevant to agency work.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress and Shopify, preferably in an agency environment.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and working knowledge of PHP.
- Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, page builders, and customizations.
- Working knowledge of Shopify themes, Liquid templating, and app integrations.
- Experience integrating payment gateways, analytics, forms, CRMs, and third-party tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under delivery pressure.
- Good communication skills and comfort working with non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling multiple client projects in parallel.
- Custom theme or plugin development experience.
- WooCommerce and advanced Shopify customization experience.
- Familiarity with Git and basic deployment workflows.
- Understanding of agency workflows, timelines, and client expectations.
