About The Role
Serve as the primary
WordPress & PHP Developer building responsive, pixel-perfect websites from Figma/XD/PSD designs. Develop custom themes/plugins, integrate WooCommerce/payment gateways, optimize for SEO/performance, and manage hosting environments while collaborating with design and stakeholder teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites, custom themes, and plugins
- Convert Figma/XD/PSD designs to pixel-perfect WordPress themes
- Customize existing themes and plugins based on project requirements
- Implement responsive design across all devices
PHP & Backend Development
- Write clean, maintainable PHP code following WordPress coding standards
- Manage MySQL databases and optimize queries
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party services (payment gateways, CRMs)
- Customize WooCommerce for e-commerce functionality
Performance & Optimization
- Ensure websites are fast, SEO-optimized, and secure
- Implement caching strategies, image optimization, and CDN integration
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues
- Manage website migrations, hosting, backups, and security
