Job Summary:

We're hiring a Fullstack WordPress Developer to join our high-velocity web team. You'll be responsible for spinning up new client sites from staging to launch on Flywheel, implementing pixel-perfect designs using page builders (like Spectra Pro or Elementor), and ensuring sites are responsive, fast, and well-structured. This role is ideal for someone who understands the full WordPress stack, thrives in repeatable build systems, and uses AI tools like Cursor to work smarter and fasterwithout sacrificing quality.

Responsibilities:

Spin up new WordPress sites on Flywheel using our internal templates and project workflows

Build out full-site experiences using page builders like Spectra Pro, Elementor, or Block Editor

Convert Figma designs into responsive, high-quality web pages

Configure themes, menus, custom post types, and plugin setups based on project scope

Implement SEO best practices (Yoast), caching (WP Rocket), and image optimization (Imagify)

Collaborate with project managers and designers to hit scope, timelines, and client goals

Use Cursor and other AI tools to generate PHP, JS, or CSS snippets as neededbut always review for accuracy and intent

Ensure mobile responsiveness, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility

Handle QA, launch prep, and post-launch support tasks

Requirements:

Must-Have:

2+ years of professional WordPress development experience (customizing themes, plugins, and templates)

Hands-on experience with page builders like Spectra, Elementor, or similar

Familiarity with Flywheel hosting, staging workflows, and WordPress migrations

Ability to implement front-end styling with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript

Proficiency using Cursor or similar AI tools for improving dev speed (bonus if you've used it with PHP or JS)

Strong attention to design fidelity and responsive UI execution

Self-managed with excellent communication and task-tracking discipline

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with Astra Pro, WPForms, WP Rocket, WP Remote, and Yoast SEO

Ability to troubleshoot plugin conflicts and performance issues

Comfort writing or editing basic PHP for theme customization

Exposure to custom post types (CPT UI), ACF, and shortcodes

Understanding of basic technical SEO, site speed, and accessibility audits
